River Café information
Situated at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, this floating wonder offers beautiful views of downtown Manhattan – not to mention solidly rendered Modern American cooking. It took a beating during Hurricane Sandy and finally reopened in early 2014. Specialties include Wagyu steak tartare, Hudson Valley foie gras, crispy lavender-glazed duck breast and poached Nova Scotia lobster.
The atmosphere is sedate (jackets are required after 5pm) but incurably romantic.
