Lonely Planet review
This modern-classic creation by Ian Schrager and Philippe Starck makes a grand introduction with its mahogany-rich lobby, laced with African art. Up the dark hallways are mid-size rooms with short, wide beds and soft, muted, pastel-hued furnishings. Some rooms have circular ‘soaking tubs,’ deluxe rooms feature a fireplace, and there's an iPad in every room. There's a fitness center to boot.
Our independent authors have visited Royalton and selected this as one of our recommended boutique hotels in Midtown.
