Lonely Planet review
The location may feel a little desolate, but this Long Island City option is two short subway stops from Midtown. Rooms are not as boutique-luxe as the hotel claims, but they are reasonably smart and contemporary, with vibrant accents, plush bedding, and bathrooms featuring rainforest showers (the superior rooms have soaking tubs). The sleek rooftop restaurant/bar offers fine Manhattan views.
Our independent authors have visited Ravel Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Queens.
