Lonely Planet review

Occupying a stunning Gilded Age townhouse from 1888, this cozy inn boasts four extravagantly roomy mega-suites: the Sage, Jade, Terracotta and the Apartment. Each is appointed in period-style furnishings, with four-poster beds, Persian-style rugs and brocaded settees, as well as fireplaces and vintage bathtubs. Breakfast is not offered, though complimentary coffee, tea and cakes are available all day.

The property is an easy walk to 125th St and is located a stone’s throw from the playgrounds at Marcus Garvey Park. Cash preferred.

Our independent authors have visited Mount Morris House B&B and selected this as one of our recommended guesthouses in Harlem & Upper Manhattan.
