Jazz on the Town

Affiliated with the Jazz on the Park Hostel, this crammed, four-floor walk-up is, despite the smiles, a by-the-numbers hostel with functional, slightly depressing dorm rooms of four or six beds; one dorm is females only. There’s a rooftop deck with artificial turf and seats overlooking loud 14th St. There are a few computers to check email, a storage room and laundry facilities.
