Lonely Planet review
In a vibrant location in the East Village, this place has clean, simple rooms with exposed brick walls, comfy mattresses, wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and small kitchenettes. Street noise is an issue (beware, light sleepers), and it's in an old building, so you'll have to walk your luggage up a few flights.
There's no lobby or other common areas. Guests receive an access code to the door to come and go as they please, so there's little interaction with other guests.
Our independent authors have visited East Village Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in East Village & Lower East Side.
