It’s lost its crusty, sweaty vibe from its original Canal St locale, but the ‘Bulgarian Bar’ is still gypsy heaven for East Euro–chic and indie-popsters. East Euro DJs spin some nights, and belly dancers and ‘gypsy bands’ take the small stage for jumping-in-place dancers. It helps to be drunk.
