Brooklyn Ale House
Lonely Planet review for Brooklyn Ale House
A poke into B-Burg’s pre-boom era, the Ale House is a definite ’hood bar, with a trace of the crustier vets amid a flow of 20-something newbies. Sure, the jukebox pays tribute to the appropriate gods of indie rock, and some local art on the walls can be eye-rollers. But the goal’s unchanged for years now: times are jollier when everyone’s drunker. Ain’t that true?
