Lexington Bar & Books
Ashtrays and elbows – sometimes stars’ elbows – line the elegant bar top in an ultrastylish space that allows sipping whiskies and $16 cocktails and cigar smoking. The shelves are lined with books (more for looks than reading), and jazzy lounge music eases the well-dressed night-outers into polite intoxication.

Circa Tabac
One of the few bars left in the city where you can still smoke (and are encouraged to do so), this stylish art deco lounge offers more than 150 types of smokes, mainly global cigars. Its specialty drinks include a pucker-inducing Gingersnap (ginger-infused vodka, crystallized ginger and champagne).
