It’s easy to make fun of the name until you see it – a full, sandy beach facing the UN (so no foul language, people) with volleyball and a walk-up bar serving beer and sangria. There are DJ nights on Friday ($10 cover). Take Jackson Ave toward the 495 West signs, turn right on 51st Ave, then left on 2nd St.
