The worst-kept secret in New York: PDT (or ‘Please Don’t Tell’) is a basement bar reached via a telephone booth – Superman would like it – inside tiny Crif Hot Dogs. It’s a compact place. Call ahead for a reservation, or have a hot dog while waiting. It’s no East Village dive – well-swirled cocktails go for $12.
