Located on the edge of Chinatown, this unguarded ‘polite dive’ has no hidden purpose – just cheap pints (Six Point beer goes for $5), carefully centered candles along the bar and tables and some good snacks for a less-done-up East Side crew that usually drops by to meet people they know. In nice weather, there’s a small patio available.
