A bright and beautiful addition to the crowded Magazine St eating scene, Coquette mixes up wine bar ambience with friendly service and a bit of white linen; the combined result is a candlelit place you don’t feel bad getting a little trashed in. Don’t just focus on the respectable wine menu, though – there’s some great French-inspired Louisiana-sourced food served here, such as a succulent red snapper on pillow-y risotto. The small plates are ­eclectic and highly recommended.
