Lonely Planet review for CC’s Coffee House

Community Coffee has been a staple in most Louisiana homes since 1919. This corner cafe is its French Quarter outpost, and it’s a good spot for perching, caffeine sipping, net surfing and the rest. Its very sweet ice-coffee blends are a treat on hot days.

    Abandon your Starbucks.

    CC's coffe (short for Community Coffee) has several locations all across south earstern Louisiana. The true Louisiana flavor and feel replaces that of the manufactured clones of your local Starbucks. Drinks range from flavorful blended coffees (Mochasippies) to simple good old hot coffee. You can also find some desserts and bagles in the glass display cases. Most CC's have outdoor seating as well as free WiFi.
