Lonely Planet review for Port of Call

The Port of Call burger is, simply put, one of the best we’ve had, anywhere. The meat is unadulterated and, well, meaty, and the burger is enormous – a half pound that easily looks the size, and we mean this, of your face. There are a lot of other menu items, but we can’t get enough of that burger-y heaven, and neither can the locals, who willingly wait outside in long lines for a seat (no reservations).

    it might take a while to find a seat, but once you do, you won{t be disappointed. portion sizes are huge as are the drinks. delicious!

    Monsoons are good!

    I like this place, but there is no parking near there, you have to park on the street which can be difficult sometimes. Also generally there is a line and it is pretty crowded. Other than that, the burgers are great...very big. The potatoes are great...I love them but mostly I go for the monsoons. They are much stronger than they taste and are a great way to kick off going down Bourbon Street later!!
