Lonely Planet review
To be sure, this 1100-room conventioneer hotel is a megamonster; the lobby feels bigger than the terminals at Louis Armstrong Airport. But it does have interesting art: George Rodriguez’s famous Blue Dog appears everywhere, in sculpture, glass and paint. In the rooms you’ll find nicely designed furniture and subtle color schemes that are easy on the eyes. And needless to say, higher floors mean fabbo views. But we’re digressing from the main point, which is that prices become very reasonable when there’s no convention in town.
