We have an 8 hour daytime stopover in Miami. Is there anything near the Airport to do with the time? As frequent travelers we are TSA PreCheck so we are open to leaving the Airport.

Road trip partners

Hi guys,
My name is Josh from Australia. This is my first post but love the forum. I am in Boulder, Colorado at the moment planning a road trip up to BC in Canada. Surfing, hiking, skydiving, climbing and most of all having a laugh. I have a subaru outback and camping gear. I reckon about 3-4 weeks to go and come back to…

  2. How much would it cost to stay…

California Hike

Hi,
I'm going to California in late Septmeber, I'm probably going to fly to San Francisco and drive to LA or LV. I want to do a Hike. I've got good experience and map reading skills, outdoors / survival skills and I'm physically fit (35 years and regular runner / hiker). I'd like to do something unguided, where there is natural beauty and nice scenery. I'd like to go off the beaten track or at least somewhere remote where there is solitude and a bit of adventure, I would like to camp on route…

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I'm kind of at a loss and figured it wouldn't hurt to try -- I'm Israeli, on medication (Wellbutrin for depression, specifically), and will be spending six months in California as part of student exchange. I'm unsure as to how to go about traveling with it and/or obtaining it in the US. I've asked my therapist and the exchange office at the US school, and both answered that students typically stock up on medicine in their home country…
