what happens if america dont let you in?

im flying into Atlanta in about 2 weeks for a 2 month trip of travelling. im pretty much all set but ive been thinking (mainly just overthinking and worrying), what actually happens if the immigration officer says no and rejects you from entering the usa for whatever reason? does this happen often? if so does it happen often to innocent tourists like myself? do they take you into a room and interrogate you further? or just make you turn around and get back on the place? has anyone on here ever…

Nature loving sidetrip between DC and New York, reccomendations?

Hello,

I have 4 days between meetings to break up a worktrip between DC and New York in October that I'd love to break up with a relaxing trip with my partner. Neither of us know the area or the states well, the internet is throwing up so many options we're getting a bit lost.

We'd love to go hiking and relax with a glass of wine. I love mountains, he likes the idea of a lake. We don't have gear for camping so perhaps a cabins or similar is a good option. We don't mind travelling up to 4…

The Flamingo Hotel review, Las Vegas

We just got back from a trip through the west central part of the US and we had a fabulous time!
We just want to tell other people about the worst place we stayed in - The Flamingo in Vegas.

I want to start out positive and say that the bed was ok and the location is fantastic. So for those of you who just want a central place on the strip to crash...go for it! To all others - let us say that it reminds one of a mediterranean place in the 80s full of drunk english tourists. The rooms (I heard…

New York, Boston and Cape Cod

Hi folks,

Please would you look over this itinerary and give me some feedback? We're thinking of heading off to New York, Boston and the surrounding area in May next year.

A couple of useful bits of info - I will be going with my husband, we're both early thirties. Interests are good food and wine, good views (happy to undertake moderately difficult hikes to achieve this) and generally just soaking up some local culture experiences. Husband does like to see sporting events if possible (I…

US auto insurance for Canadian with Ontario registration and license

Hi

I'm a Canadian who spends 6 months a year in the states. The insurance quote I got in Ontario was sky-high (4500 CAD per year) so need to know if I can get US insurance which is much cheaper without registering my bike in a state or transfering over my Ontario license for a state license.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Matt
