Make Way for Ducklings Statue
The most endearing of the Public Garden monuments is Make Way for Ducklings, always a favorite with tiny tots who can climb and sit on the bronze ducks. The sculpture depicts Mrs Mallard and her ducklings, characters in Robert McCloskey’s beloved book. As the story goes, Mrs Mallard and her brood are helped across the busy street by a friendly Boston policeman.
