Lonely Planet review
The granddaddy of Providence's hotels, the Biltmore dates to the 1920s. The lobby, both intimate and regal, nicely combines dark wood, twisting staircases and chandeliers, while well-appointed rooms stretch many stories above the old city. Ask for one of the 292 rooms that are on a high floor.
Our independent authors have visited Providence Biltmore and selected this as one of our recommended historic hotels in Providence.
