Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA; 413-586-5806; www.pvta.com) provides bus services (with bike racks) to the entire Five College area, with the Northampton–Amherst route having the most frequent service (ride/daily pass $1/3). There’s a bus stop in front of John M Green Hall at Smith College on Elm St, and others at several spots on Main St.
