Getting there & around

Concord Trailways (603-228-3300, 800-639-3317; www.concordtrailways.com) runs a daily route between Boston and Berlin, which stops in North Conway at the Eastern Slope Inn. The bus stops in Concord ($16.50, 2½ hours) and Manchester ($19.50, three hours) before heading south to Boston ($28, four hours).

Once you’re in town, leave your car be-hind and hop on the new village trolley (877-986-7267; www.wmtransit.com; one way $2; every 30min 8am-10pm Mon-Thu, 8am-11.30pm Fri & Sat, 8am-7pm Sun), which runs along North Conway’s main street from the North Conway Grand to Settlers Green.
