Sorento's
Little known outside of Fenway, Sorento's is a fabulous find for its romantic ambiance and tasty pizzas and pastas. The umbrella-shaded patio is the perfect spot to linger over lunch after spending the morning at the MFA. The interior is also atmospheric, with an open kitchen and candlelit tables. It aint fancy, but it's definitely the classiest option along this stretch of Peterborough St.

East Boston is a blue-collar, rough-and-tumble part of town; the setting for much of the Academy Award–winning movie, Mystic River. But most importantly, Eastie is the home of Santarpio’s, the pizza place that constantly tops the lists of Boston’s best pizza pies.

Hot Tomatoes Pizza
Simply the best pizza in town. You won’t find any sad-looking salads or second-rate pastas here – these folks stick to what they know best: thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizzas. It’s takeout only, but you can head to the riverside picnic tables in the back yard.

Small, cozy Baba’s is known for its wood-fired pizza with organic sourdough crust and guys with dreadlocks. The interior is painted a peach-orange tone that would look appropriate in New Mexico.

Spiritus Pizza
