Sights in Bar Harbor

  1. Bar Harbor Brewing Company

This tiny award-winning brewery is one of North America’s smallest, producing just 260 barrels a year. Rich-roasted ales and dark creamy stouts are brewed, bottled and delivered by a husband-and-wife team. Free tours and tastings take place during the summer (3:30-5pm Tuesday to Friday). For the kids, the brewery makes root beer and 100% natural blueberry soda. It’s located along ME 3, about 3 miles south of town.
