I've been to Alaska(9-day solo on land). I will take a group of 5 to
visit Alaska middle June. one of them is on wheelchair (not power
one), and I'd like to get some advise. the member are senior, 1st time
and most likely the last time to tour the west coast and Alaska. no
adventure, primarily will be sightseeing, limited budget.

my overall plan is:
1) fly to Seattle, spend 2.5 days , then fly to Anchroage
2) Alaksa 5 days + 2 arrival/departure day: Anchroage-> seward -> exit

Hey guys! So Im from Australia, I will be going on exchange to America in 2017 and am really having trouble deciding what I should put down in my preferences for colleges.

I originally wanted to do exchange in New York city but my uni had no partners there, the closest college was Rutgers in New Jersey. I listed that one anyway but I started to look at other options. I think the most important thing to me, is being close to a city because I obviously wont have a car. I also would like to know…

Hi all,

We are looking for some assistance with planning our trip which happens at the end of this month. Some background - we are 3 guys, 33 years old, and we will be holding a conference in Miami, and will be departing from Miami on the 3rd June on the road. We have 10 to 12 days free before catching up with some with some meetings in LA approx 12th/14th of June.

We decided it might be fun to drive across the US in a rented convertible muscle car(mid life crisis and all that), and we are…

We are planning to experience west coast for 9D/9N along the west coast. I could find a few similar questions but they didn't solve the purpose. We are planning to fly to Seattle on Thursday night, start the trip on Friday morning and fly back from Vegas on Sunday (Gotto be at work on Monday :(). I understand this is a shorter trip for west coast but want to make the most of 9 days we can spare.

TIA for your answers/suggestions.

P.S. : We don't mind resting a little and travelling a lot.

ALASKA RV RENT...

Hey, how are you doing?

A couple of guys heading to Alaska this summer, we want to rent a RV but most of the websites I´ve been checking out rent RVs for 200$ per day which for a fortnight makes almost 3,000$. Wooow! I haven´t found anything cheaper. Is there any agency with good prices or do you recommend renting a regular car and spend the nights in hostels or Bed and breakfasts/hotels?
I didn´t know this was so expensive.
Thank you for your tips.
Sincerely,

Jaime
