Come for the stellar sake cellar, dramatic interior design and taste-bud-awakening hot and cold appetizers, such as seaweed dressed up in orange ponzu sauce or snapper ceviche with lemon-lime and white soy. Sushi rolls ($6 to $24) and family-style teppanyaki menus (from $100 for four people) are better value than pricier entrees and tasting menus. The mochi (Japanese rice cake) ice cream is the perfect finish.
