Visitors to Vanderbilt University pack into this bustling chain hotel, in a prime location in Nashville's West End. Some rooms even have views over the football field, perfect for game day tailgating. Be sure to reserve rooms well in advance around Vandy graduation and on football weekends, as this friendly place fills up early.
Business travelers favor the hotel on weekdays, so prices are a bit lower on weekends most of the year. Insomniacs may be interested to learn that the Vanderbilt University Sleep Disorders Center laboratory is located on the 5th floor, complete with video recording equipment and electroencephalogram machines! The average guest will have no problems drifting off in the comfy rooms, though. Tastefully decorated in red and gold, they have vintage Vanderbilt photos on the walls and spacious, sparkling bathrooms.
