Elvis used to eat at this ultraretro diner, Memphis' oldest. Crowds still pack in for sweet potato pancakes and cheeseburgers.

    Mediocre

    arestotts does not recommend this,

    I live in Memphis, but I am not usually keen to eat at the Arcade. Although the restaurant has been featured in many films (including "Mystery Train") and might be worth visiting just because of that, the food is mediocre. The neighborhood, however, deserves your attention. If you go, be sure to at least walk outside the National Civil Rights Museum to see where Dr. ML King was assassinated. It's chilling but important in our journey as a nation.
