    BEAUTIFUL venue

    The Orpheum is a historic and very beautiful theater with old-fashioned velvet drapery and chandeliers. It's famously haunted by a child ghost named "Mary." They have live theater and concerts, but the best thing to do at the Orpheum is the Summer Movie Series. They show "old" (sometimes classics like "To Catch A Thief" but sometimes classics like "Raiders of the Lost Ark") movies on the big screen - a hard-to-find experience, especially in such a beautiful location. "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is usually the last thing to show in the movie series. One wonderful thing about the Summer Movie Series is that you can sit anywhere on a first-come, first-served basis, including the box seats that would be expensive for a live performance. The sound for the movies is a bit challenging and echo-y, because there are not enough people in the room. Let's change that!
