Just south of Downtown LA, Exposition Park has enough kid-friendly museums, historic sports facilities and green spaces to keep you busy for a day. Parking is $8.

    The roses are plentiful. It is a great place to sit and read, it is quiet and usually near empty. I've rarely seen more than a couple families and students in the park at any one time, and its fairly large.
