Lonely Planet review for Grauman's Chinese Theatre

Even the most jaded visitor may thrill in the famous forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where generations of screen legends have left their imprints in cement: feet, hands, dreadlocks (Whoopi Goldberg), and even magic wands (the young stars of the Harry Potter films). Actors dressed as Superman, Marilyn Monroe and the like are usually on hand to pose for photos (for tips), and it's a good bet you'll be offered free tickets to TV shows (those in season).

    Totally cheesy but totally Hollywood.

    remelila recommends this,

If you've ever loved The Movies, you have to make a quick stop at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. You'll probably already have been walking down Hollywood Blvd looking for your favourite celebrities' sidewalk stars anyway -- at Grauman's you can see their hand and footprints (always so much smaller than you'd think), plus their cement signature. And if you're by yourself, don't worry -- there'll be throngs of other tourists there to snap you making the V sign over Nic Cage's footprints.
