    Definitely worth it if you're in downtown LA

    I don't see how this is the #3 shopping experience in all of the USA, as it is just a market like so many others, but it's nice and safe and neat and you can buy those large plastic boxes of strawberries for $0.50, which normally go for $1-2, and even higher in Toronto. The Bradbury Building is nearby, as is the Fashion District, and the historic Angels Flight diagonal train ride. There's a lot to see here that shouldn't be overlooked.

    It's cool just to go check out the market scene- it's like nowhere else in LA. And everyone can find something they want to eat. Totally affordable too.
