Lonely Planet review for Saladang Song
Inside the soaring glass walls of Saladang Song, it’s the details that first impress – a bright flower on every table, efficient service, artfully presented food. But the first bite of one of their beloved Thai specialties brings it all home. Song serves light, fusion-friendly Thai – sassy salads, spicy wraps and savory soups – while sister restaurant Saladang next door offers a more traditional Thai menu.

delicious food, great atmosphere
michfish recommends this,
Saladang Song's neighbor, Saladang, came first. Saladang seemed to spring out of a converted office building, and when Saladang Song was a work in progress, you almost couldn't believe a new restaurant was being made there. Both restaurants serve excellent food, and it's fun when you have a group to have everyone pick something and share. I'd have to say that in comparison to other Thai food I've had, Saladang and Saladang Song's comes out fresher and lighter. There are fun things on the menu like fried rice in a pineapple half, and the Thai iced coffee is the best I've tried so far. On a summer night, sitting in Saladang Song's large enclosed patio space open to the moonlight is just wonderful.
