Boule is a little pocket of Paris in the middle of LA - I love it! The layout is super chic and you can just imagine a celebrity walking in at any moment. The macaroons are to die for, you can spend a good 20 minutes just ogling over all the flavours - they literally do look to good to eat.....lavender, rose, pistachio, olive oil.....almost anything your heart desires. I was so besotted with them on my first visit that I actually took photos of each and every flavour, because the colours and decorations were so amazing. Boule also offer a wonderful range of cakes, pastries and breads. They have kept to traditional french bakery products rather than americanised versions, which I think is fabulous.....even the labels are in french.

The service is superb, I had lots of questions about what was in different things, as I have specific dietary requirements. All the staff were so knowledgable and more than happy to help. They also knew exactly what I could and couldn't take with me back through customs, on my way home (to New Zealand).

I would highly reccommend this gorgeous little cafe/bakery/patisserie to any travellers - and leaving without sampling a macaroon would be a sin!!
