Handily located near West Hollywood restaurants, the party precincts of the Sunset Strip and the gay and lesbian mecca of Santa Monica Blvd, yet hidden on a quiet residential street, this all-suite property scores high on the hipness scale. It's outfitted with almost everything you'll need for a pleasure-filled stay.

Part of the dynamic Kor Hotel Group, this WeHo outpost raises the bar south of the Sunset Strip, where other lodgings are considerably run-down and poor value. The rooftop pool makes for a nice post-sightseeing hangout, where you can lie back on a couch and look at the stars. Don't despair after seeing the narrow and dark hallways, since each plush, sunlit studio room has a private balcony and fireplace, as well as a flat-screen TV and CD/DVD player; bi-level suites have sunken living rooms. The nearby Trader Joe's supermarket comes in handy if you're in a kitchen unit. Secure underground parking is a plus, and the concierge services are ace.
