Tour description provided by G Adventures

The perfect blend of wildlife, active excursions, and the charm of wine country, this week-long journey from Las Vegas to San Francisco packs a punch. Explore Yosemite – famous for its waterfalls and fantastic landscapes – and paddle the Russian River in Sonoma wine country. These diverse areas offer plenty of options and our nimble touring van makes the most of sites. Camping keeps you close to the land while offering great value, so you’ll have money left to sip or slurp you way through Napa Valley.

Day 1 Las Vegas
This tour leaves Las Vegas in the morning on Day 2. If you would like to spend any additional time here, we recommend booking pre-tour accommodation. Additional Notes: There will be a brief welcome meeting held in the hotel at 6pm. The CEO will circulate the hotel to collect all checked-in travellers for the orientation meeting. Please wait in your room for the CEO to escort you to the gathering. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting
Day 2 Las Vegas/Bishop (1L, 1D)
Visit one of the country's most rugged landscapes, the legendary Death Valley, the hottest and driest spot and home to the lowest point in North America. Surrounded by peaks which soar more than 14,000 ft (4,267m) in elevation, Bishop, one of "America's Coolest Mountain Towns" sits directly in the centre of an incredible area of natural beauty. Included Activities: Death Valley National Park Visit Transport: Private Vehicle (7.00 hour(s), 430km)
Day 3 Bishop/Yosemite National Park (1B, 1L, 1D)
In the morning, visit ancient Mono Lake and walk among dramatic and fascinating tufa towers. Be in awe of the spectacular views of Yosemite National Park's magnificent peaks and granite domes while enjoying one of the most scenic drives in California: the Tioga Pass! Hike one of the many trails Yosemite has to offer and be inspired by this beautiful and amazing landscape. Additional Notes: Note: we intend on using the Tioga Pass, a scenic route through the Sierra Nevada mountain range that connects Bishop with Yosemite NP. In the spring and autumn seasons, there's a chance that the pass will be closed due to poor weather conditions or even snow. In such a case, we will use an alternate route, and will spend the night in Lake Isabella instead of Bishop. The status of the road is monitored daily, and our travel plan for the area will be confirmed during the trip. Included Activities: Mono Lake Visit Tioga Pass Drive Transport: Private Vehicle (7.00 hour(s), 236km)
