Lonely Planet review for Zumanity
Billed as ‘another side of Cirque du Soleil, ’ this human zoo amps up the energy, contorted acrobatics and flirtatious eroticism of the troupe’s other risk-taking Strip shows. It won’t take your breath away, though. So what’s the hook? Maybe it’s the curvilinear thrust stage, uninhibited costumes or the aphrodisiacal cocktail menu.

Hilarious, sexy, and entertaining

This show was an erotic version of Cirque du Soleil. I have never been to any other productions by them, so I didn't know exactly what to expect.
Overall I would say it was very entertaining. There was a Matradee and others who told jokes before the show and in between sets. There was a variety of comedians, contortionists, dancers, singers, acrobatics, and more. At times it seemed a little overwhelming, because there were several performers doing different things all over the stage. However, I have been told that this is how Cirque du Soleil usually goes.
If you are planning to go to this show, you can arrive a half hour before the show and take pictures with some of the performers in the lobby area. The costumes and make-up are amazing. There are bars serving cocktails as well.
I was really impressed with the talent and laughed a lot. This show is pretty saucy with jokes and performances that challenge the social boundaries of sexuality. If you are sitting in the front, there is a good chance you could be called on to participate. It's all fun and games so if you can laugh and roll with it, you will have a blast.

intriguing and entertaining but wasn't amazing

I would say it was a good experience. At times it was a little too forced in "sensuality" and comes off almost corny at other points. Any and everything erotic you could think of was addressed at some point (bondage, gay, love etc.).
Beware, they do engage closely with a select number in the first few rows. If you don't want to be targeted in any way I'd say to sit a little further back. My husband said he did not enjoy it as much as he did Absinthe @ Caesars (which had MUCH less nudity and was much more funny)... I have to agree.
Good for: visual stimulation
Not good for: homophobes
