Lonely Planet review for Excalibur
Arthurian legends notwithstanding, this medieval caricature, complete with crayon-colored towers and a faux drawbridge, epitomizes gaudy Vegas. Excalibur could have resembled an elegant English castle, but its designers decided to go the kitschy route instead, which is just fine with the cheapskate frat boys and families with rambunctious young kids who stay here.

Great for the Price
jamieoffroadqueen recommends this,
We booked our travel through this site called Galavantier.com in Vegas, they put a whole package together for us which included hotel and a show. The hotel could use a little touch up fixtures, paint etc..but the all together the experience was great!

The Funniest Thing I've Seen In Ages
melissa_m86 recommends this,
It is completely worth it to visit Excalibur. It is the gaudiest, hokiest thing, but you'll have a laugh and you will never forget it, let me tell you. Going inside is a bit of a let down (it just looks like any other sprawling Vegas casino) .

Hokey and falling apart, but CHEAP and fun
vivekw recommends this,
Excalibur may be coming apart at the seams a bit (all the decor and fixtures in the rooms seems a bit worn), but the price is unbeatable. It's also one of the best resorts for kids, with a great video arcade and kids' play areas.
