As showcased in the Hollywood film Rain Man, Caesars Palace upped the luxury ante for the gaming industry when it debuted in the 1960s. The Greco-Roman fantasyland captured the world’s attention with its full-sized marble reproductions of classical statuary, its Stripside row of towering fountains and its cocktail waitresses costumed as goddesses.
