On the way to Lake Mead, artificial Lake Las Vegas resort is an oasis in summer. Rent kayaks, jet-skis and sailboats from MonteLago Village Marina, where one-hour yacht cruises depart most weekends. During winter, an ice-skating rink opens on the lake.
