The only non-ocean waterskiing in the state is found here on the Wailua, only from the Wailua Bridge to the first big bend in the river. If you’re up for a tow session, try waterskiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding or hydrofoiling. They also rent water equipment, including surfboards ($30/90 per day/week, $300 deposit), bodyboards ($5/20, $75 deposit), snorkel gear ($5/15, $75 deposit), and stand-up paddle boards ($45/180, $600 deposit).
