Lonely Planet review
You'll either love or hate the showy, theme-park features of this megahotel. There's no natural beach, so its highlights are artificial. Rooms are comfy enough but they're standard business class and neither luxury nor oceanfront. Due to sheer property size, getting around can be a hike and service somewhat impersonal.
The hotel is showing its age, but its larger-than-life decor, including monorail and boats navigating between three towers, could be a diversion for kids. Visitors must shell out $15/21 per day for self/valet parking.
Our independent authors have visited Hilton Waikoloa Village and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Waikoloa Resort Area.
