Small, gay-friendly condo hotel is best known as the home of Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand. Standard-issue rooms are compact, with limited kitchenette rooms available. Each vacation-rental condo is individually owned, so they can vary in quality – view online photos with some skepticism. Free in-room wi-fi. Ask about weekly and low-season discounts. There is limited self-parking available on-site.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach and directly across from the Honolulu Zoo, this aparthotel offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a balcony with views of the beach, Kapiolani Park or Diamond Head.
Each individually-decorated room at Castle Waikiki Grand Hotel features a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee-making facilities. A cable TV is also provided. Select rooms offer a kitchenette.
The gay-friendly nightclub Hula's Bar and Lei Stand offers cocktails, music and dancing. Teddy's Bigger Burgers is a 1950’s-style diner featuring fresh, made-to-order burgers, fries, sandwiches and salads.
