Lonely Planet review
Underground at downtown’s high-rise hotel, this tiki-themed sports bar and grill serves an aloha-shirt-wearing business crowd. Huge salads, sandwiches and burgers aren’t as tempting as only-in- Hawaii specialties such as miso butterfish, kimchi (Korean seasoned vegetable pickle dish) and kalua (cooked in an underground pit) pig saimin (noodle soup), ‘ahi poke (cubed raw fish mixed with shōyu, sesame oil, salt, chili pepper, furikake, ʻinamona or other condiments) salad and happy-hour pupu . Live music on most Friday nights.
