Lonely Planet review
Two miles south of Sunset Beach, this private home owned by a lovely couple claiming two decades on the North Shore rents out an oceanfront studio with a loft bedroom. The quarters are a bit cramped and you'll need to climb a steep ladder to bed down for the night but the beach is just footsteps from the house. There's a five-night minimum stay.
