Hula Grill & Barefoot Bar information
The Barefoot Bar is your Maui postcard: coconut-frond umbrellas, the sand beneath your sandals and the guy strumming the guitar. It’s the ambience that impresses most, and there’s no better place on the beach walk to sip mai tais and nibble pupu (snacks) by the sea. The Kapulu Joe pork sandwich with macnut slaw (add a dash of chili water) is reliably good, and the beer-battered mahimahi taco hits the spot too. Dinner inside at the restaurant kicks it up a notch with spicy kiawe-grilled seafood.
