Lonely Planet review
Nowadays, once-lowly mullet is appearing on gourmet menus. But this family-run restaurant has raised its mullet (plus aholehole, rainbow trout and catfish) in Hawaiian-style fishponds since 1921. Fresh fish can't get any fresher. However, don't expect a fancy dining experience. It's a humble place with plain dinnerware and homey full meals of fish (try the ti -leaf–wrapped steamed mullet), rice, salad, apple pie and coffee.
