Volcano House
The restaurant at Volcano House serves a cafeteria-quality buffet for breakfast and lunch. Dinner plates match what you'd expect at your uncle's second wedding - though the dining-room view is a knockout. There's a snack bar during the day if you want something small, and at night the decidedly unatmospheric Uncle George's Lounge (; - ) has a full bar.

Volcano Store
For groceries, pickings are slim at both Volcano Store and Kilauea General Store. The best trail lunch will be leftovers from the night before (Hint: think Thai).
