Nicknamed the '19th Hole', the Hualalai Grille reopened under the direction of celebrity chef Alan Wong in early 2004, with signature dishes like the 'New Wave' Opihi Shooter appetizer - a tall glass of local limpets in spicy tomato water, fennel basil and ume shiso (Japanese plum) essences.
