Lonely Planet review

Locals have been fueling up at this laid-back surf-style diner since the 1980s. Only recently has candlelight and creative food transformed the humble dining room after 6pm. A daily menu of fresh preparations focuses on local ingredients and may feature mains such as lamb or mahimahi. Here even the side-dish vegetables are stars. Grab a bottle of wine from Bonzers Wine Shop next door. For weekend breakfasts and dinners, outdoor seating magically appears behind the buildings.
